10.20.11 “Ducking In One Last Time”

"Ducking in One Last Time"Today we laid my grandfather to rest exactly how he wanted to be buried. With the woman he loved for 52 years. And on top!

I once read that after someone close to you passes on, if you see a bird, or some other type of animal blessed with the gift of flight, it means that their spirt is within that animal, visiting with you one last time before they fly off to heaven.

I guess that would explain why this one duck in particular kept hanging around the patio of the restaurant where the family went to have a final meal in his honor this afternoon.
